Job Description

Research in the field of quantum cryptography: * Simulation of communication protocols * Development of hybrid integrations of quantum and classical communication systems * Research into hardware-related error models and security analysis of hardware-specific - Close collaboration with experimental groups and industry partners * Organisation of outreach activities such as workshops and public events

Requirements

  • Successfully completed academic university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physics, mathematics or computer science
  • Good language skills in German and/or English are required; willingness to acquire all missing language skills
  • Basic knowledge of quantum information theory
  • Experience in the Python programming language
  • Knowledge of LaTeX

Nice to Haves

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for workshops and conferences is desirable
