This role is within the Lids department within Vehicle Platforms as an Mechatronics Engineer, supporting the delivery of this commodity on a single vehicle programme with specific responsibility for leading the development of Closures Mechanisms on a new vehicle product throughout the virtual phase into the physical build phase and launch. The role will focus on engineering delivery of these components into production, ensuring delivery of work on time to support the builds and program milestones. You’ll be responsible for delivery of the engineering for this commodity meaning managing the prioritisation of work, Cost, Weight, Timing, Releasing and Validation. Working to resolve issues as they arise in a collaborative manner with your squad as well as the wider cross-functional team.
