



As a trainee you will: * contribute to fostering harmonisation, integration and innovation in euro area financial markets; * help monitor the compliance of financial market stakeholders with market standards and shape the EU regulatory framework in this field; * help organise external events related to market infrastructures and payments; * contribute to drafting notes on analytical/research projects and policy topics; * help prepare presentations to relevant working groups and committees, ECB decision-making bodies and market fora; * research, collect, store, manage and share data, information and documentation in your area of responsibility and explore new approaches, proposing creative ways to address technical questions. The traineeship offers you excellent opportunities to learn about financial market infrastructures and contribute to the Eurosystem’s tasks in this field. You will gain insight into the latest market developments and the challenges the industry faces, as well as how market integration can help overcome these challenges. You will also learn how market fragmentation can be mitigated through careful policy formulation in collaboration with regulators and the industry.
