






The Information Governance (IG) intern will gain valuable experience in a range of key areas, including Records and Information Management, Confidentiality, Privacy, eDiscovery, and Incident Management. The intern will work closely with the team and be involved in conducting a variety of assessments. These assessments cover a broad scope, including new initiatives, technology migrations, system decommissions, third-party vendor reviews, and the evaluation of permission and access controls. Principal Accountabilities: Assist with evaluating data management capabilities through assessments to ensure compliance with established company policies, procedures, and standards. Document and address vulnerabilities and risks related to data management by providing remediation solutions. Support Information Governance initiatives through data collection, analysis, and documentation. Contribute to projects focused on Information Governance topics that keep our data safe. Assist with updating policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Support the Information Governance team by learning and completing operational processes. Assist the team with data analysis and updating data processing and record inventories. Complete quality assurance activities related to Information Governance business processes. Prepare and develop organizational awareness and training materials.
