This thesis internship focuses on researching how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of project management within an industrial automation environment. Our new intern will analyze current project management practices and investigate how AI-driven tools and methods can support project managers, automate routine activities, and improve decision-making. The outcome of the internship is a practical, research-based roadmap for integrating AI into daily project workflows, aligned with Yokogawa’s values of reliability, safety, and long-term value creation.
