Job Description

Interpath Advisory provides critical financial advisory and restructuring services to clients globally and locally. We have a growing international presence and currently have 30 locations across the UK, Ireland, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Caribbean. Interpath are excited to offer an internship opportunity for motivated individuals to join our dynamic team, gain practical experience in the financial advisory sector and restructuring services and develop essential skills for building a successful career in the finance industry. As an Intern at Interpath, you will have the chance to support our consultants across various sectors, gaining valuable insights developing a broad commercial awareness and understanding of the challenges facing businesses today. Our internship programme is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, allowing you to contribute to real projects, gather structured feedback and learn from experienced professionals. A mentor will be assigned to you to provide continuous support, guidance and advice throughout. Key Accountabilities: This internship offers a unique opportunity to understand the lifecycle of a business in stress/distress from our advisory work through to the formal insolvency process. It is also an excellent opportunity to develop your professional network. Key tasks may include: * Support team members in data gathering and research for ongoing client projects. * Attend client and internal meetings, taking notes and summarising actions. * Contribute to the preparation of client/stakeholder reports, presentations, and financial analyses. * Assist with trading and/or wind down of operations of insolvent companies. * Attend to the statutory requirements and internal best practices of an insolvency. * Help progress the insolvency portfolio by supporting in various tasks, including creditor adjudications. * Interact with appointees, appointers, directors, creditors, employees and other relevant stakeholders. Travel to other Interpath offices may be required.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree, on track to graduate Summer 2027.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrates interest in consultancy and financial services.
