At Showpad, we don’t just run infrastructure; we engineer the foundation that enables teams to ship safely, reliably, and at scale. We’re looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer Intern to join our Platform Engineering team and help evolve the cloud systems that power our applications and data workloads. This isn’t a “support ops” internship. You’ll work on real production infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering — the invisible layer that makes everything else possible. The Mission As a Cloud Platform Engineer Intern, you’ll operate at the intersection of infrastructure, automation, and reliability. You won’t just observe how systems run — you’ll help build and improve them. * Engineer for Scale: Work hands-on with AWS (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch) to understand how modern cloud architectures are designed and operated. * Automate Everything: Contribute to Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK. If it can be automated, we automate it. * Design for Reliability: Help improve monitoring, alerting, and logging. Learn how production-grade observability prevents incidents before users feel them. * Own Real Work: Take responsibility for clearly scoped platform improvements — from design to deployment. * Think Like an SRE: Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis. Learn how resilient systems are built and maintained. Next-Gen Engineering Environment We believe in developer velocity and modern engineering practices. * AI-Augmented Development: Use AI-powered tools to accelerate onboarding, understand complex systems faster, and write higher-quality automation code. * Code Reviews that Teach: Experience structured, high-signal code reviews designed to level up your engineering judgment — not just fix syntax. * Production Mindset: Work in a CI/CD environment with automated deployments, testing, and infrastructure pipelines.
