Job Description

Conduct advanced research on ML/AI for 6G wireless systems, focusing on neural transceivers, ML-based channel estimation and detection, or related topic. Investigate state-of-the-art model architectures—including generative models, sequence-based models, and self-supervised learning approaches applied to 6G communication systems. Provide technical support for contributions to industrial/standardization bodies (e.g., 3GPP, ETSI, …) with an emphasis on PHY/MAC ML topics. Build and improve simulation environments for ML-enabled wireless communication systems to enable realistic performance evaluation. Publish high-quality research papers in top-tier scientific journals and conferences.

Requirements

  • A completed Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of Machine Learning, particularly deep learning techniques; experience with their application to communication systems is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of wireless communications
  • Experience with Python and machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
