At Fugro, our Geotechnical Admin Assistants are a vital part of the team, supporting engineers working on ground investigations that underpin safe infrastructure, renewable energy and sustainable development. Based in our Wallingford office, you’ll work closely with geotechnical engineers and reporting teams, gaining insight into how data, organisation and collaboration drive successful projects. Reporting to a Principal Engineer, this is a friendly, supportive, on‑site role where your contribution truly matters, and no two days are the same. Your role and responsibilities As a Geotechnical Admin Assistant on our Summer Placement programme, you’ll support the smooth running of projects by keeping information organised, accurate and accessible. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality administrative support to geotechnical engineers and reporting teams within the Land business Accurately entering, tracking and managing project data to ensure information is always up to date Assisting with the preparation, compilation and formatting of technical reports and documentation Acting as a central coordination point for project data, helping teams meet delivery deadlines Liaising confidently with engineers, site staff and internal teams to support project progress Supporting the maintenance and deployment of engineering equipment (such as tablets, laptops and cameras) in collaboration with the operations team
