About the mission we offer you: T.EN has developed a master planning tool that estimates the performance of the main refining and petrochemical units related to refining (steam cracker complex, aromatics complex). The aim is to test different crude oils and different configurations (number and type of units) in order to optimize the complex layout and obtain a material balance at the plant boundaries, particularly in terms of the quality and quantity of finished products. The software used is Excel, and the tool does not use macros for calculations. A few macros are used to improve productivity and generate results for use in multiple cases. The tool requires adjustments to improve/add certain property/yield predictions, adjust the formulas used, and simplify its use by users. During this internship, you will be supported by a tutor who will answer your questions and coordinate activities and meetings with experts on the subject.
