







Start Date: 1st July 2026 Location: Winnersh What you’ll need: * Potential interns must be in their 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement, and are expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 grade * You must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2026 for 13 months. * You'll have self-motivation to work independently, be confident in your resourcefulness, but aware when you need to ask for help and guidance * You will have good time management and organizational skills while being structured in your approach * You'll be adaptable in handling new and evolving requirements, and comfortable working under tight timescales * Show Creativity in approaching projects and bold in asking questions * Exceptional written, visual and oral communication skills and comfortable talking to people of all seniority levels * Team-oriented and collaborative mindset. * Fluent in English What you'll do: * Support to Enterprise Sales Team: The sales intern's responsibility is to support the HPE Networking sales teams to maximize sales opportunities in the UK&I customer base. This covers Enterprise, Public Sector, Major accounts & Defense sectors. This is a Sales Support role but is very varied; with day-to-day activities including forecasting, reporting and analyzing data, arranging events, and communicating with the wider team. * Reporting: Business Analytics and reporting are a key part of the sales intern function. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining reporting and analysis on behalf of multiple teams. Quality of data and attention to detail are paramount. SFDC and Power BI are used daily in order to facilitate reporting within the Sales Team. * Excel: Sellout reports are produced daily to ensure members of the sales team are able to track their deals. Pivot Tables are also used regularly to summarize large data sets. * Communications: Prepare and participate in bi-weekly forecast calls to ensure the forecasts are accurate for the Sales Team. Organize team meetings to discuss relevant and important business once a month. Autonomy over various projects to get the most of being an Intern in HPE Networking. * Marketing: Opportunity to work with HPE Marketing to produce professional communications and events for each customer vertical. CenterPoint can be used to create effective and polished events, mainly for contacts outside the organisation. Event Calendar is also used in these cases to ensure that successful events are coordinated punctually. * Extra: Assist HPE networking sales leaders and individual account managers with the weekly forecasting process and updating Clari / SFDC. Integration with other HPE Networking interns to ensure cross-role and system support for holiday cover. Develop cross-functional knowledge and capabilities. Help to manage one-off events and focus sales days. * Development opportunities: Customer meetings – visits to clients and partners for sales meetings & partner reviews. HPE Networking Improvement Plan – help the leadership team to develop and build upon the strengths of our business by identifying areas we can improve. Support for customers' sales events – internally and externally. HPE intern programme activities - Early career committee, Charity & volunteering events, Employee resource groups engagement in Site location activities.
