Mechanical Engineer (Intern) 2026-2027 1-year internship Role Summary This is an exciting opportunity to join the Monitoring and Diagnostics team, based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Our mission is to develop state of the art monitoring technologies, generally deployed in an Electrical Substation, allowing a customer to understand and optimize the operating condition of their Electrical Power Transformers, circuit breakers and other substation assets. We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join our Technology department. This role encompasses various aspects of Mechanical Engineering, from design to testing and certification. Key responsibilities include: * Participating in Product Development processes. * Identifying and creating innovative solutions. * Designing new mechanical systems. * Defining test specifications. * Supporting our global supply chain to sustain manufacturing and supplier processes. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
