Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Monitoring and Diagnostics team, based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Our mission is to develop state of the art monitoring technologies, generally deployed in an Electrical Substation, allowing a customer to understand and optimize the operating condition of their Electrical Power Transformers, circuit breakers and other substation assets. We are looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join our Technology department. This role encompasses various aspects of Mechanical Engineering, from design to testing and certification. Key responsibilities include: * Participating in Product Development processes. * Identifying and creating innovative solutions. * Designing new mechanical systems. * Defining test specifications. * Supporting our global supply chain to sustain manufacturing and supplier processes.

Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written English is essential.
  • Has or currently are pursuing a degree in Engineering/Science (preferably Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical and Mechanical, but all considered)
  • CAD experience (Solidworks or equivalent)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • Demonstrated time management capability
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment or independently on multiple projects with strict completion deadlines.
  • Good writing skills, accuracy and an eye for detail.
