Dive into future mobility trends like autonomous driving, advanced haptics, and "Quiet Tech" interfaces to translate driver needs into powerful design insights. Imagine and create revolutionary steering wheel concepts (yokes, retractables) by developing sketches, 3D models, and renderings. Get hands-on by building low-fidelity mockups (foam/clay) and using 3D printing to validate ergonomics, grip, and driver visibility. Take the lead in redefining the steering wheel's role. You will design and propose new human-machine interface (HMI) concepts from the ground up, driven entirely by driver needs and the goal of creating a truly adaptive and intuitive interface. Support user testing in our state-of-the-art VR and driving simulators to evaluate the emotional and functional impact of your designs.
