Job Description

As an IT Technical Consultant Apprentice, you’ll work within an enterprise applications team supporting and enhancing digital platforms used by large organisations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in IT, digital platforms, and technology consulting while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Requirements

Configure, support, and maintain enterprise applications and digital workflow platforms
Assist with the development and testing of system enhancements, integrations, and automated processes
Investigate incidents, service requests, and system issues, supporting resolution and continuous improvement
Gather and analyse user and business requirements, translating them into technical solutions
Support system administration tasks including access management, monitoring, and platform health checks
Produce clear documentation such as user guides, process flows, and technical notes
Work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders to improve user experience and efficiency
Build core IT skills across platforms, automation tools, security awareness, and professional service delivery
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Foundation knowledge of web technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST APIs) would be preferable
Interest in enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, or similar
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a client-focused environment
