Job Description

Investigate and conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as access control, privilege management, operating system security, and system security, including hardware-based security mechanisms for CPUs, GPUs, and specialized accelerators. Identify and formalize challenges and deficiencies of state-of-the-art approaches. Design, develop and optimize Proof of Concepts and support their integration into Huawei’s products. Work closely with domain experts, renowned professors and talented students, and deliver research results, publishing at top conferences. Conduct collaborations with research institutions and universities.

Requirements

  • recently completed or will soon complete your master’s studies in computer science, computer engineering, AI security, cybersecurity, or related area
  • Deep understanding and experience in at least one security area such as access control, OS security, system security, code analysis, cryptography, etc
  • Good knowledge on operating systems and the inner workings of a kernel, alongside experience with Linux, macOS, HarmonyOS, iOS or Android
  • Alternatively, knowledge on computer architecture and security aspects of computing solutions, e.g. memory protection, secure RDMA, microarchitectural attacks, etc
  • Solid experience in C or C++
  • Team-work spirit

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
