THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION INTENDED FOR A RECENT SCHOOL OR COLLEGE LEAVER LOOKING TO START IN THE WORLD OF WORK. 🔸Have you recently left school? 🔸Are you interested in providing quality customer service in an administrative role? 🔸Are you interested in progressing to a role in Finance? 🔸Do you want to earn money while you learn on the job and work towards a Business and Administration SVQ? A friendly, busy and vibrant Financial Planning Firm in Glasgow City Centre is providing a fantastic opportunity for a young person to join their team as a Business and Administration Modern Apprentice! As they continue to grow, they are excited to welcome an enthusiastic Office Junior who will play an important part in supporting day-to-day operations and help them deliver an exceptional experience for their clients. This is a brand-new position — perfect for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn, loves being organised, and enjoys working with a supportive team. Please note that this position is for an initial 14 month contract with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. During this time, you will be fully trained and supported through a Level 6 Business and Administration SVQ. As Office Junior, you will be the go-to person for general administrative support across the business. You will help keep the office running smoothly, assist with client service tasks, and develop valuable skills that will set you up for future career. You will work closely with our Client Team, gaining valuable exposure to how a professional financial services firm operates. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Office & Administrative Support: 🔹Welcoming guests and offering a warm first impression of the firm 🔹Managing incoming and outgoing mail 🔹Answering calls and directing enquiries 🔹Keeping office supplies stocked and organised 🔹Ensuring meeting rooms are prepared and presentable Team Support: 🔹Assisting colleagues with scanning, filing, and document preparation 🔹Supporting the Client Team with simple processing tasks 🔹Helping with data entry and updating internal systems 🔹Assisting with client packs and general office tasks General Duties: 🔹Keeping shared spaces tidy and professional 🔹Assisting with small projects as needed 🔹Contributing positively to our supportive, Human-First™ culture
