Job Description

Our Financial R isk Internship has been designed so that you can understand what a career with LSEG would really be like. As an intern , you will join one of our flagship trading services – LCH SA , a leading global clearing house providing clearing services to international clients.

Requirements

Implement Python tools for the estimation of risk parameters used in margin calculations
Produce reporting on results
Automate data loading processes
Contribute to continuous process improvement
Contribute to margin replication and stress testing
A demonstrable interest in financial markets and the banking sector, developed through your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities, with a particular curiosity about financial risk and how markets operate .
Basic knowledge of financial markets, particularly bonds, repo and CDS
Strong Python skills (SAS as a plus)
Proficiency with databases, VBA, Excel, and SQL
Strong analytical capabilities
You will need to show excellent French and English written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology tools , and have an interest in learning financial data tools
Being able to see the bigger picture and make connections between different things is a great skill to have.
