Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive school in South Birmingham. 📍 Location: South Birmingham 🕒 Start Date: Immediate / ASAP 💼 Contract: Full-time | Long-term (potential for permanent placement) About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs-such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs or learning difficulties-helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Your key responsibilities will include: * Providing 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEN * Using tailored strategies to remove learning barriers * Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation * Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo * Assisting with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans * Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils * Promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment
