Your workplace The Uber location is centrally situated in Amsterdam South. Our daily service includes providing breakfast, lunch, delicious snacks, and maintaining and replenishing pantries for approximately 600 guests. In addition, every Thursday we host a super fun social gathering, and upon request we also facilitate other events for Uber’s guests. Alongside preparing and serving innovative dishes, we place great importance on sustainability and waste reduction. This location is open from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 19:00, except during events. Your team We are a dynamic team of about 30 enthusiastic individuals with diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Together, we strive to bring out the best in one another every day. Our colleagues come from all over the world, creating an inspiring and educational environment. Our work is varied and challenging. We have different tasks and responsibilities, and we regularly rotate roles to keep things interesting and diverse. No day is the same! Besides working hard, we value a positive atmosphere. Experience is welcome, but we also value eagerness to learn and a positive attitude. Your job “Good morning!” You woke up on the right side of the bed and are eager to get started. As a Catering employee at Uber, Amsterdam, you make the restaurant 100% ready for one of the most important moments of the day. You help prepare all the dishes and drinks your guests are looking forward to. Then it’s mealtime. You welcome the guests in a hospitable manner, as only you can. This allows you to personalize your service! And even better; the guests know you by now too. After mealtime, you get to work cleaning up and preparing for the rest of the day and tomorrow. Additionally, you make (meeting) people happy with a cup of coffee, a snack, or a drink. Thanks to your friendly service, everyone is very satisfied, and you can go home with a fulfilled feeling.
