As an intern on the Finance team, you will gain exposure to: • Collaborating with multiple departments within the Finance team, such as Corporate Accounting, Vendor Accounting Operations, Market Data Research Finance, Procurement, and Financial Planning & Analysis • Operating in a dynamic and competitive hedge fund environment • Developing a deep understanding of the infrastructure of a successful hedge fund, focusing on the Finance team's role in efficiently reporting and analyzing trends, managing complex transactions, and compensating global employees • Supporting colleagues with daily tasks, including the month-end close process, preparing investor risk reports, assisting with portfolio management-level compensation, and creating consolidated monthly financial packages In addition to the learning and development you’ll receive in your day-to-day role with your team, as a part of our summer internship program you will: • Work alongside your fellow interns and be mentored by experienced professionals • Meet your peers through designated intern programming, volunteer opportunities, and social events • Attend sessions with senior leaders discussing their expertise and career paths • Get hands-on access to best-in-class tools and resources • Gain exposure to groups and functions with unique responsibilities and perspectives on our industry • Develop technical, writing, and presentation skills
