Job Description

Conduct laboratory experiments using Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) on steel-concrete samples. Conduct corrosion rate testing, utilizing C-Cube’s sensors to assess material degradation under various conditions. Simulate underground environmental conditions to accelerate corrosion processes. Analyze experimental data to support R&D and product development. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable insights.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering program or a related field (HBO/BSc/MSc).
Strong interest in corrosion science, concrete materials, and electrochemical testing methods.
You have some basic experience with material characterization techniques (e.g., microscopy, spectroscopy, and mechanical testing).
Interest in data analysis; knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or similar tools is a plus.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus!)
