We are seeking a highly motivated and talented software engineering intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will tackle a core challenge in modern robotics: interoperability. You will help bridge the gap between popular open-source robotics ecosystems and our internal software stack, making it easier for developers worldwide to bring their ideas to life on our platform. How your work moves the mission forward * Investigate and map the architectural landscape by comparing industry-standard robotic execution models (such as behavior trees) with our Intrinsic platform to identify synergies and functional gaps. * Architect and develop an intelligent software translation tool that bridges these two ecosystems, allowing external developers to seamlessly port their existing workflows into Flowstate. * Solve complex integration puzzles by designing logic that not only translates direct equivalents but also identifies high-level patterns, creates wrappers for complex behaviors, and provides clear, actionable feedback when direct conversion isn't possible. * Empower the robotics community by defining and building a new user workflow: enabling developers to author robotic behaviors in familiar open-source tools and execute them effortlessly on our cutting-edge software stack. * Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals in modern C++ software development practices.
