1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - KS1 - Glossop Full-Time | Short-Term Role | Immediate Start Available Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil within a KS1 class at a welcoming Primary School in the Glossop area. This is a full-time, short-term role running until the May 2026 half term. The successful candidate will work closely with a child on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum, develop confidence, and thrive within the classroom environment. The Role: * Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND within a KS1 classroom * Supporting the child's learning, emotional wellbeing, and social development * Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies * Assisting with adapted learning activities and classroom engagement * Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
