Job Description

Newly opened, Andaz Lisbon is an exciting luxury lifestyle hotel in the Portuguese capital and represents a key milestone in Hyatt’s continued brand growth in Southern Europe. Andaz Lisbon is the second Hyatt‑branded hotel in Lisbon. Located in the heart of Lisbon’s vibrant Baixa district, along the city’s main pedestrian street, Rua Augusta, the hotel is spread across five distinct buildings, including the former headquarters of one of Portugal’s major banks, Banco Português de Investimento (BPI). The central building houses 170 guestrooms, while the four surrounding satellite buildings offer a selection of exclusive private suites. As a unique Urban Resort in the city center, Andaz Lisbon invites guests to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and experience the true essence of Lisbon. We are currently looking for an Executive Office Trainee to join our team! The Executive Office Trainee will support the General Manager directly, contributing to the daily hotel operations, administrative management, internal communication and project coordination. This role provides a strategic and transversal overview of various hotel operations, offering a rich and diverse learning experience. Main responsibilities: · Assist with daily administrative tasks (agenda management, correspondence, document organization); · Prepare presentations, reports and materials for internal and external meetings; · Handle calls, emails and relevant contacts, ensuring clear and professional communication; · Support the coordination of GM initiatives and interdepartmental projects; · Participate in the organization of internal events, delegation visits, corporate VIPs or external partners; · Gather information and update operational indicators when required. · Welcome special guests/VIPs when requested; · Ensure special requests are properly coordinated with operational teams. · Represents GM on his behalf when is needed

Requirements

  • Academic background in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Administration or related fields
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude, curiosity, willingness to learn and openness to working in a creative and multicultural environment
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written) – mandatory
  • Availability for a 6 to 9-month internship – mandatory
