Job Description

Do you want to work in a purpose driven environment, helping the Novo Nordisk Foundation achieve its goals to drive societal impact? Then come work for our Impact, Projects & Portfolio department that strives to support the organisation’s impact culture, project excellence and portfolio management of grants. We are looking for a student assistant who thrives in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and varied tasks. You will support the team with ad hoc data preparation, investigation and analysis, data visualisation, and other ongoing tasks. You will join the Impact Management team, which works across the full grant value chain, from early initiative design to long-term outcomes and impact. We support colleagues in strengthening impact pathways, monitoring and evaluation, and we generate insights about how the Foundation’s funding creates impact for people and the planet. You will work with a broad range of data related to the Foundation’s grants and initiatives, including: * Grant portfolio data (e.g. funding amounts, thematic areas, geographies, partners) * Monitoring and evaluation data from funded projects. Examples include demographics, bibliometrics, patents, and company-related data. * Grant application data The work involves both structured quantitative datasets and qualitative material that requires synthesis and interpretation. Your tasks will include a mix of routine tasks and one-off analytical projects: * Conducting minor analyses * Supporting data collection, validation and structuring * Preparing PowerPoint presentations and visual materials * Visualising data for internal use * Supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation activities * Handling various administrative tasks The working hours will be approximately 15-20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies.
