Civil engineers support the planning, design, building, management, maintenance or dismantling of buildings, structures, and infrastructure. They will use and apply engineering principles and techniques, carry out calculations and data analysis, prepare and produce sketches and diagrams. Duties typically include: * Support civil engineering projects by creating and modifying engineering diagrams, documents, and specifications, following industry standards. * Assist in developing engineering solutions by collecting and analysing technical data and using digital tools like CAD/BIM/REVIT * Prioritise safety by adhering to health and safety guidelines, identifying and mitigating risks. * Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including environmental and sustainability measures. * Manage project quality, budget, and targets using available systems while maintaining data security. * Communicate effectively with project teams, customers, and stakeholders. * Work both independently and as part of a team, taking responsibility for tasks. * Promote equality, diversity, and ethical standards. * Continuously learn and develop skills in line with professional codes and industry standards.
