As a Software Engineering Intern in the Identity and Network Access (IDNA) division, you will be at the forefront of preparing the most critical of our services for the era of Agentic AI. Our division serves over 100 million customers around the globe, building the authentication, authorization, and network security solutions that power some of the world’s most critical digital experiences. This is where you can make an impact on a truly global scale. You will work alongside talented engineers to help build the strong and secure foundation that Microsoft needs for the upcoming wave of AI. From enabling AI agents to authenticate and act on behalf of users, to ensuring that every identity and network interaction is protected, your work will directly shape how the world engages with intelligent systems. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship.
  • You must be legally authorised to work in Ireland to be eligible for this role.
  • (Legally authorised = Has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
  • One year of programming experience in an object-oriented language.
