Join Agilent Technologies UK instrument sales team to gain sales and marketing experience within a fast-paced and exciting environment. You will develop real world business development experience in a market-leading company. During this Internship at our Harwell Center of Excellence facility, you will spend time working closely with and supporting the field sales and marketing teams in day-to-day matters related to Agilent’s Cell Analysis and Molecular Biology Research products. Communicating with these teams and our customers will allow you to learn quickly and work effectively within a commercial setting. As our Business Development Intern, your work will consist of: * Developing business with both new and existing clients (no cold calling) * Analysing market data to support business generation * Responding to inbound customer enquiries via email and webchat * Supporting UK sales managers with order tracking and reporting * Generating customer proposals, tender responses and quotations to support the sales team. * Assisting with the organization of local and international events, e-seminars and other marketing campaigns. * Working on the creation of marketing material and newsletters * Building your personal network by liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be a full-time employee and valued member of the team, working on strategic projects and contributing to day-to-day operations to be part of Agilent’s success. During your internship, you will interact with peers and team members regularly within the UK and European Sales teams.
