Job Description

Support in the development and improvement of simulation models of stationary energy storage systems (ESS). Perform simulations using MATLAB/Simulink to evaluate the performance and lifetime of ESS under various operating conditions. Contribute to the optimization of energy storage systems, including the study of operating strategies and the analysis of economic viability and efficiency. Documentation of the results of the simulations and the analyses carried out in the form of reports or presentations. Programming scripts to automate simulation processes or analyze results. Support in the validation of the simulation models by comparison with real data or by testing on prototypes. Researching current studies and technologies in the field of energy storage to deepen the understanding of current trends and challenges.

Requirements

  • Ongoing study in the field of energy engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or a related field
  • Sound knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of battery technologies and energy storage principles
  • High motivation and initiative
  • Advanced technical skills, deep understanding of technical principles, and systemic thinking
