Job Description

Become part of a dynamic, international, and fast-paced environment and join us in Zurich as our next Trainee within Data & Analytics Office Main characteristics of the Graduate Trainee opportunity * Length of employment on a fix-term contract with start date as soon as possible; 12 months * Main tasks: developing and delivering Data Quality, Data Discoverability, and Data Cataloging pipelines leveraging Palantir Foundry (PySpark) in partnership with the Data Governance and various business functions * Appropriate internal on-the-job training and introduction to Reinsurance, networking activities

Requirements

Above average University Degree (Master, PhD) in Engineering, IT, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial Sciences or similar
Very good knowledge of programming languages (preferably Python/PySpark)
Previous experience with data visualization is an advantage
Good conceptual and analytical capabilities plus being able to approach tasks consistently, goal-oriented, and independently
Prior experience with version control software such as GIT is an advantage
Excellent communication skills and command in English, knowledge of French or German is an advantage
Global mind-set, team player attitude and appetite for continuous learning and achievements in an international context
