Job Description

Supported by our experienced team you will: Develop the skills required to effectively support a production team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment Gain experience in delivering performance against key targets, metrics, and quality standards, including supporting the delivery of the Master Production Schedule and associated KPIs Promote a culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction while supporting change management initiatives to maximise team efficiency and effectiveness Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to support effective communication and successful delivery of operational objectives Ensure all Health and Safety standards and regulatory requirements are consistently met Assist manufacturing line leaders in driving operational efficiency and performance improvements This role gives you the opportunity to work within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment, where you will develop a strong understanding of operational excellence and production delivery. During your placement, you will focus on developing your skillset through hands-on experience supporting production teams while gaining knowledge of aerospace standards, quality requirements, and Health and Safety practices. You will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers to support effective collaboration and communication. As part of continuous improvement activities, you will participate in Kaizen events, contribute to cost reduction and efficiency initiatives, and support change management projects. You will also have opportunities to present updates and improvement outcomes to the Senior Leadership Team, strengthening your confidence and professional communication skills.

Requirements

  • degree or integrated masters in Supply Chain, Warehousing & Transport or a Business-related discipline - with a significant Manufacturing/Operations component
  • available to complete a 12-month placement commencing in June/July 2026
  • proficient in Microsoft Office
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • experience working within a team environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
  • submission of a covering letter is mandatory
