Job Description

You will be responsible for running trials and analysis on emulsified products that will enable the delivering of a new process to be implemented in the factories. Learning about emulsification processing and application for current products. Coordinate pilot plant trials and collaborate with different partners. Setting up microbiological challenge tests to validate the process conditions and process lethality in close cooperation with our microbiologist/scientific services department. Understand the current way of working to produce Mayonnaise and Emulsions at Pilot Plant and Factory scale. Understand analytical and sensory methods to measure trials performance. Define an analytical plan. Prepare periodic presentations to keep the internship supervisor, and the Process Team informed about the progress.

Requirements

EU working rights are required (Either you have EU Citizenship, you are studying in the Netherlands or have relevant student work visa)
Bachelor/Master level in food processing technology or food related engineering
Knowledge on: General process on food industry, Scale up knowledge, Ingredients interaction and Emulsification process
You are a teamplayer who is proactive and have good communication skills. Curious and organized person.
You should have strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus)
You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship.
