You will gain the knowledge required to ensure test equipment correctly and accurately assesses the performance of flight control actuators and to understand how software can be developed to automate this process. You will develop the skills required to produce technical procedures and reports to a high standard. You will learn how components are manufactured and assembled into finished products and will develop hands-on skills for assembling equipment, including measurement and inspection techniques. You will learn how to assess test requirements and results and to investigate test failures, including detailed root cause identification.
