We’re now looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our Group Finance team — a fantastic opportunity for someone part-qualified, AAT qualified, or ready to start their ACCA, with full study support provided. This role is ideal if you’re early in your accounting career and want hands-on exposure to financial accounting in a large, regulated organisation, alongside structured development and the support of an experienced finance team. Your role Working closely with our Group Accounting and Financial Control teams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls across the Group. You’ll gain exposure to month-end and year-end processes, IFRS accounting, audit support and continuous improvement projects, while developing the technical and commercial skills needed for a long-term career in finance. What you’ll be doing * Supporting month-end accounting processes under IFRS * Assisting with provisions, leases and expected credit loss calculations * Supporting IFRS 15 accrued income processes * Helping prepare statutory year-end financial statements * Supporting audits and liaising with stakeholders * Contributing to continuous improvement projects
