Our Global Internship Programme in Innovation & Sustainability (#IP2TIS) offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry while making a positive impact on the world. Are you ready to join a global network spanning 20+ countries, where bright minds collaborate to tackle real-world challenges in Innovation & Sustainability? Do you want to work on impactful projects, shape the future, and drive change from within? As an intern, you will contribute to the development of the Tavero F&B Charter, a project focused on creating science-based standards for sustainable procurement and menu planning in Roche’s corporate catering environment in Basel and Kaiseraugst. The project aims to move beyond marketing claims by building a robust decision-making framework grounded in evidence, helping Tavero define measurable sustainability standards across food sourcing, labels, menu choices, and guest communication. Within your first 3 months, you are expected to help develop a prioritization matrix, conduct a science-based fact check on key food and packaging trade-offs, assess Swiss food and animal welfare labels, and contribute to recommendations for procurement and guest nudging. Your work will support Roche’s sustainability ambitions by identifying high-impact levers for climate action, biodiversity, and healthier food choices across 26 outlets serving around 15,000 employees each day. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply scientific thinking to real-world catering decisions with visible environmental and workplace impact.
