Job Description

We are looking for a Scanning Engine Developer Intern to help us improve how we detect modern, heavily obfuscated threats. What you’ll do Work with our scanning engine team to enhance detection of obfuscated samples (malware, PUAs, other threats) Research simple obfuscation and packing techniques and help design detection strategies Implement and test small improvements in our detection logic under the guidance of senior developers Analyze detection results and help tune rules and signatures to reduce false negatives/positives

Requirements

  • Ongoing studies in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., C/C++ or Python)
  • Interest in malware analysis, reverse engineering, or low-level systems
  • Willingness to learn, experiment, and work with real-world threat samples
  • Good written and spoken English
