Job Description

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a positive impact at a fashion scale-up? Join our dedicated sustainability team, consisting of the Sustainability Lead and Junior Sustainability Specialist. As to what you are going to be working on, no day will look the same! One day you might be gathering sustainability data and certifications from suppliers, and the next you could be preparing for upcoming audits such as our B Corp recertification, GOTS, or other standards. You’ll also get involved in our carbon accounting projects, contributing to product LCAs, for instance. Finally, you could help out with the organization of a corporate volunteering event or a sustainability-related workshop for the company. Because sustainability is embedded across many parts of the business, you’ll collaborate closely with many different teams, such as Product Development, HR or supply chain. We can promise hands-on experience and real responsibility. This is a full-time role based at our headquarters in Amsterdam: ideally, you could start beginning of May for a total period of six months. You must be authorised to work in the Netherlands.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program, preferably in a field related to Environmental Science, Sustainability, or Fashion Management
  • Ideally ready to start beginning of May for 6 months
  • You are authorised to work in The Netherlands
  • Familiar with the processes involved in clothing production
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), a second language is an asset
  • Not scared of large data sets
  • A hands-on mentality, excited to learn new things
  • Interested in sustainability, apparel and making an impact
  • An analytical thinker with an eye for detail
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
