We are looking for a Security Assistant for our Safety Assessment site based in Tranent. The standard working pattern will be Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.00pm. The following responsibilities related to the Security Assistant role: * Opening delivery entrance gate at 8:00am. * Management of goods in vehicular access gate to site. * Controlling delivery vehicle entry and exit from site. * Maintaining records and documentation applicable to delivery vehicle movement. * Supporting entrance maintenance duties as required (snow clearing etc). * Closing the delivery entrance gate at 4:00pm. * Monitoring CCTV. * To participate in covering colleague annual leave/sickness and ensure smooth running of the security provision. * Controlling staff and visitor entry and exit from site. * Custody, issue and control of keys. * Building and site patrols. * Initiating early response to emergencies. * Monitoring of CCTV feed from multiple facilities. * Monitoring and reacting accordingly to the intruder detection and surveillance system across multiple facilities. * Physical locking / unlocking of off-site facilities, therefore a current driving licence is desirable. * Administration duties – raising of PO’s, supporting with internal Maximo system as required. * Undertake other duties requested by Facilities Manager.
