Job Description

The intern will support the Fleet Energy Performance team in developing innovative solutions for energy optimization and emissions reduction. The role includes significant front-end development responsibilities and integration of advanced AI models to enhance user experience and decision-making. Front-End Development & AI Integration: Design and implement modern front-end interfaces for energy performance dashboards and AI-driven applications Develop interactive visualizations and compelling data storytelling components for business stakeholders Collaborate closely with data scientists to integrate machine learning models into user-facing tools Ensure seamless data flow between back-end and front-end systems through API integrations Support testing and deployment of AI-powered features in production environments Contribute to iterative development cycles with a focus on scalability and user experience Innovation & Technical Support: Assist in building and optimizing digital solutions for energy monitoring and emissions analysis Support the continuous improvement of existing analytics tools and dashboards Work with modern development environments and version control systems Contribute ideas for enhancing AI applications and user interaction concepts

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
Strong front-end development skills, particularly in JavaScript and React (or comparable frameworks)
Experience working with Git and development environments such as VS Code
Solid understanding of data-driven applications and attention to detail
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to translate complex data into clear and engaging narratives for business stakeholders
