What You'll Do Your day-to-day duties will be tailored to fit your unique skills and career goals, spanning across product engineering and core infrastructure. As an early and pivotal team member, you will exercise significant influence over our high-level strategy, technical design, and product decisions. Product Development: * Architect novel features and improve current system capabilities by working closely alongside Paul and Emile * Proactively collect user feedback and translate those insights into concrete improvements for the platform Technical Leadership: * Ensure the system remains highly scalable and resilient to accommodate our continuous growth * Continuously refine and update our AI toolchains to leverage the latest advancements in artificial intelligence * Work with state-of-the-art tech, concentrating mainly on backend architecture deployed across Cloudflare and Google Cloud Past examples of what you could be building: * Duolingo-inspired daily quiz system crafted to increase student interaction with their university coursework * Complex AI pipelines developed to extract textual and visual data from diverse document types, subsequently integrating those elements into comprehensive knowledge graphs * Custom authorization engine created to handle the growing intricacies associated with distinct institutional setups
