General Motors Advanced Design are seeking an enthusiastic intern to join the Clay Sculpting team based in its new UK studio in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. An entry level internship as a clay sculptor working under the general mentorship of Senior Sculptors, responsible for translating 2D sketches, renderings and digital data into precise and aesthetically refined 3D clay models for various vehicle programs. This is for automotive vehicles and other mobility products including but not limited to: interiors, exteriors, color and trim, brand and components. Work collaboratively in a team of design personnel to achieve design goals as defined by leadership. Follow design process from initial sketches through final release of models. Present working level and final physical models to management and leadership.
