Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Student Data Operations Officer to play a pivotal leadership role within our Academic and Student Administration directorate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a data‑rich environment and is motivated by improving processes, enhancing service quality, and supporting colleagues across the student lifecycle. In this role, you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the Student Data team, managing workloads, supporting team development, and ensuring the delivery of efficient and accurate student information services. You will be responsible for the oversight and continual improvement of programme setup and maintenance processes, ensuring that programme data is consistent, high‑quality, and aligned with institutional and regulatory requirements. A key part of the role is managing Brunel’s fees matrix, including annual updates, system configuration, and quality assurance. You will act as a key point of expertise for complex fee queries and maintain compliance with sector‑wide regulations. You will also drive continuous improvement across processes, support strategic planning through data insights, and work collaboratively with colleagues across academic and professional services areas. Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels will be essential.
