





As a Supply Chain Management Apprentice, you will support the procurement of materials and services to meet customer & project needs, always putting safety & quality requirements first, in line with company procedures. Working alongside experienced procurement and supply chain professionals, you’ll gain hands-on experience while developing the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in supply chain management. You’ll work closely with a range of internal teams, including Operations, Quality, Engineering, Project Management and Finance, while also engaging with external suppliers. This role combines practical workplace learning with formal study as part of a structured apprenticeship programme. Day-to-day your activities will include the following: · Create and manage direct and indirect purchase orders within a SAP ERP system · Manage purchase orders from placement to delivery, including expediting and resolving delivery and invoice queries · Liaise with Quality, Engineering and Project colleagues to resolve technical and quality issues · Support the qualification and on-boarding of suppliers and maintain accurate vendor records · Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to support supply chain management · Proactively manage and resolve day-to-day supply chain issues
