Job Description

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a С++ Developer (Intern) to join our Amsterdam-based team. As part of our Software Development group, you will work closely with experienced software engineers, gaining hands-on experience in solving the challenges related to multi-threaded and distributed computing, working closely with hardware, and trying to squeeze maximum throughput from our computational cluster, while our infrastructure is written in modern C++. This internship may also offer an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects at the intersection of low-latency trading and system optimization. The internship duration can range from 3 to 6 months, depending on the team and the intern’s availability. Upon successful completion, you may be offered a full-time position at Pinely.

Requirements

Strong C++ programming skills;
Experience with multithreading and distributed computing;
Experience with low-latency and high-performance code optimization;
Understanding of data structures and their impact on system performance;
Ability to analyze and optimize code for instruction-level latency;
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
