In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company, you’ll be right in the middle of the action: The Stryker Sports Medicine team in Freiburg develops patient-specific solutions to support clinical decision-making for indications that can be treated with minimally invasive joint surgery. As an intern in the team, you will contribute to the advancement of the Sports Medicine patient-specific solution offering. You will investigate and implement novel analysis methods, as well as evaluate the results. As a valued member of our international Sports Medicine R&D team you support the advancement of image-based enabling technologies. Working with medical image data, you will extend your proficiency in AI/ML by applying computer vision and machine learning techniques to develop innovative solutions that can be used in pre-operative analysis and planning. You will be involved in all aspects of AI/ML algorithm development including data preparation and labeling. You will gain insights into how research supports defining solutions for new product development in the medical device industry. You will enhance your scripting skills by automating your developed approaches and evaluations and allow for efficient processing of data.
