As a Sales Assistant based in Elgin, you’ll be responsible for: * Providing expert advice to customers by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations * Handling customer queries and provide solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders * Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending * Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes * Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs * Completing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment which will involve manual handling of heavy items e.g. boilers, sinks, radiators, and toilets * Loading and unloading vehicles for deliveries and collections
