We are seeking support for the research activities of the “Intelligent Systems” group in the following areas: * Assistance with conducting robotics experiments as well as testing and integrating the laboratory’s code infrastructure (20%) * Assistance with the reimplementation of existing robotics and robot perception algorithms (20%) * Assistance with the development, integration, and testing of perception algorithms for robotics; the development of neural systems for implicit scene/object representations; the construction of such representations from raw data; and their use for planning and real-time robot control (20%) * Assistance with the development of algorithms for meta-optimization and the generation of randomized problem instances (≈ evolutionary methods) for testing and optimizing the planning and control capabilities of robots in large-scale, simulated, automatically generated scenarios * Assistance with hardware and control development for a mobile robotic platform, including system integration of the mobile base and a manipulator (20%)
