Job Description

As the Global Social Media Intern, you will help strengthen Kipling’s brand presence and engagement across social channels. Working closely with the Global Social Media Sr. Specialist and cross-functional teams, you will support the development and execution of strategies that build meaningful connections with our online community. Key responsibilities include content creation, community management, performance tracking, social listening, and analyzing engagement metrics. This internship offers hands-on experience in growing and nurturing a global digital community for an iconic fashion brand. Get ready to make an impact! Here’s what you’ll be responsible for joining our team: 1. Social Media Content Creation Spot viral trends and propose ways for Kipling to leverage them. Create visual assets and write captions aligned with the brand’s tone. 2. Content Posting Support the Global Social Media Sr. Specialist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across global channels. Monitor local accounts to ensure alignment with the global calendar and guidelines. 3. Community Management Engage with the community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries. Build positive relationships and surface key issues or crisis risks. Identify advocates, track emerging online trends, and coordinate with regional teams on customer questions. 4. Social Media Analysis & Reporting (Sprinklr) Compile performance reports with actionable insights for global and local accounts. Analyse sentiment, monitor competitor conversations, and deliver bi‑monthly insights and recommendations. Assess platform opportunities, social commerce potential, and community engagement trends. Create social listening reports and support regions with ad‑hoc requests. Support regional teams on specific reporting requests.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field.
  • Strong passion for social media, online communities, and fashion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Confident engaging with online communities in a friendly, professional way.
  • Familiar with major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, etc.) and community tools.
  • Experience with Sprinklr is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for trends and content ideas.
  • Analytical, able to interpret data and extract insights.
  • Proactive, self‑driven, and comfortable working independently or in a team.
  • Fluent in English; other EU languages are an advantage.
