As a Mechanical Engineer, you support mechanical engineering and procurement activities within industrial projects. You prepare technical specifications for various types of equipment and work closely with colleagues from, among others, the Process department. You maintain frequent contact with suppliers and assist with technical evaluations, document control, and testing activities. In addition, you independently carry out preparatory tasks, while a Senior Mechanical Engineer supports you with more complex technical issues. What will you be doing? * Preparing technical specifications for equipment such as pumps, vessels, mixers, tanks, skid units, and other equipment packages * Performing technical and commercial bid evaluations * Reviewing vendor documentation * Supporting procurement and expediting activities * Attending FAT and SAT tests (Factory / Site Acceptance Tests) * Supporting cost estimates and technical evaluations * Collaborating with disciplines such as Process and other engineering teams * Maintaining contact with suppliers and occasionally with clients
